The New Racing Blade has been developed to match any type of style, weight rider, condition. The Racing Blade delivers maximum power needed by the slalom and speed pilot. 
New for 2011- the Racing Blade is compatible from 6.3 to 9.5 with both Rdm and Sdm masts.

Racing Blades on Rdm masts are ideal for light weight riders in competition, and for high performance cruising… Rdm masts are perfect for a smooth & easy feeling. 
Rigged on Sdm masts, Racing Blades deliver the maximum power that serious competitors and  mid/heavy weight racers are looking for.  For 2011 the Racing Blade wind range has increased as well, with an amazing upper end control and stability.  For 2011 the legendary Blade lightness in the hands is combined with improved balance & fuller body profiles- boosting low-end performance.

The new Racing Blades introduce this year The Loft’s exclusive Internal Batten Tensioner System (ITS). This new Racing Blade feature results in a lighter, smoother, more reactive and aerodynamic leech.  The batten tensioners are moved  forward, just behind the mast for improved rig inertia.  The ITS combined with new reduced diameter carbon tubes, and the Racing Blade Pentex upper body panels results in extremely light upper rig weight for overall better performance.

Loft batten tensioner-  Dyneema loops x2; one each side (from bottom to top).  Tension is loaded equally to pocket and sail body.  This centers the batten tension, equalizing batten dynamics and making the sail body symmetirical regarding rotation.
